My drug of choice was heroin.
Until they put me here against my will.
At the time it was my only viable choice.
I preferred stumbling through life numb to it all.
But now I’m here, and every sound and every emotion is heightened to a level I never knew existed.
Then somehow, in a moment of weakness it became all about him.
He makes me feel things I never thought possible.
I thought he was my antidote, but it turns out that he’s just my new drug of choice.
This was kind of a hard book for me to read because I know someone that went through this but that is also what made me have to read it. This is a topic that is not talked to much about in books and I'm glad that I was able to read a book that was wonderfully written about this subject. I loved the story line and the way that the characters just meshed together. This was a book that held my attention until the very end and there was never a moment that i wanted to put it down in fear of I was going to miss something. Asher was a great addiction to this story and the fact that he could really relate to Tegan was a plus. This is a book that everyone should read.
