This was the first book of the series that introduces us to the doms, dommes, tops and subs and of course club Genesis. In the first book we meet Emerald and find out her back story. Emerald is the sub that always think that she will never find a dom but she also has these dreams about this mysterious dom and this lady. Than one day it finally happens and we get to see what all she has to endure to get her HEA. This book is full of characters that you love and makes you want to know what is their story

Review

In book 2 we find out about Savannah and how she always fought what she truly desired. She was the shy girl that never opened her heart up to love because she felt that the minute that she did she would lose that person. She meets Dylan and Nick and things change for her. Savannah is thrown into this new world and new experience that she only dreamed about and she finally realized that ii's okay to love again with her two doms. Nick and Dylan both experienced things in their lives that made them close off to others but each other. The trio spend an amazing week together and neither one knows what will happen next. I enjoyed see Savannah grow into the sub that she was meant to be and seeing more of the past characters and what is going on with them.

Review

The third book in the series taught you more about Leagh and Tony. One of the favorite subs and doms. Leagh had a dom that passed and she was just trying to see where she fits and where her home. Tony brings out that side of her that was there and he brought her back to life and made her see all that she was really capable of. He was the power dom that she always needed and that alone made them the perfect pair.

Review

I must say that the fourth book was my favorite so far. I was curious about Mellie ever since Masters of my Desire and I wanted to see how her story would go. I loved Master Stephen because he was the perfect dom for Mellie and he made her realize that just because you had a bad experience you could not contain the sub in you no matter how hard you tried. Mellie was the hard headed subbord girl that needed the right person to bring back out her sub. This story had a lot of twists and turns and some things that I never saw coming but that made the story all the more interesting.

Review

This was one of those books that I could not put down. I literally read this book in one setting it was really that good. Ren was the girl that had a rough life, her father left her when she was 5 and her mother was sick so she literally had to raise herself and grow up quick. When she lost her mother she decided to look for her father because that is what her mother wanted. Ash was the golden boy that had it all but he threw it away. He decided to go back to where it all started and that is when he saw Ren and the attraction was so strong between the two that it was unbearable. Ren and Ashe both had demons that they were fighting. Don't get me wrong this book contains great sex scenes but the thing that really draws you in is the fact that Ren and Ash keep you on your toes and wanting to know more about what is going to happen next. I look forward to reading more from this series and this author.

My fist slammed into the heavy leather bag, the impact jolting up my arm and absorbing into my torso. 

The only light was from the back row of fluorescents I’d switched on over the ring. It was dark, murky and helped me pretend I was someplace else. The drama from the daylight hours was gone and it was just me and the darkness. Exactly the way I liked it. 

I began another set of punches, hair sticking to the sweat beading across the back of my neck. Structure. This was the only thing that was predictable in my life and I needed predictable. 

Stance. Guard. Punch. Guard. Repeat. 

There was a loud cough behind me and I spun on my heel, heart thumping in my chest, and my gaze collided with Ash’s. 

“Fuck,” I exclaimed, holding a hand over my heart. “Don’t fucking do that, Ash.” Typical. The creeper was being all creeper again. 

“What are you doing?” He stared at me, his gaze hovering a little too long on my bare midriff. 

I steadied the bag with one hand, taking deep breaths. “What does it look like?” 

“I’ve never seen…” He trailed off and I wondered if I’d finally made the Golden Boy lost for words.  

I turned my back so I didn’t have to look at him. “What? A woman in a sports bra? Highly doubt it.” I rolled my eyes and wiped my forehead with the back of my arm. Even though I couldn’t see, I felt his gaze burning into my skin and I suppressed the urge to squeeze my thighs together. Infuriating, self-absorbed, arrogant…

Review

There is so much I wanna say about this book but if I do I will give it away. All I can say is that this is a must read from the beginning to the end. I loved this book and the story line held me the whole time. I was so caught up with Melodi and Corban that I didn't want the book to end. This book threw me on an emotional roller coaster ride and I didn't want to get off. All I'm going to say is the end threw me for a loop and now I'm sitting on my hands trying not to write Ms Lovelock and tell her to let me read the next book.

Excerpt

A huge playful smile swipes across his face, which sets my chest racing. “I’m sure you will be fine. Anyway, Melodi, I would love to stay and get to know you a little better, but unfortunately, I have a meeting in about twenty minutes, which I probably shouldn’t be late for.” He reaches his hand out like he is about to shake my hand. You’re seriously not just going to shake my hand!

Surprising me for the second time, he takes my hand, placing a gentle kiss across my knuckles, and then pulls me close, pressing his lips to mine. I taste him; boy, he tastes good. It’s nothing like our kiss the other night. This is more…more sensual.

Savouring the moment, until his cologne drifting around me drives me crazy, igniting a raging fire within me. My arms wrap around his neck, pulling him closer to me. Our kiss becomes more heated.

I remember we are standing in the middle of the footpath when a car goes past blasting its horn. I’m not sure if it’s at us or something else. I slowly pull away, placing one more gentle kiss to his warm lips. Mine already ache from the loss. We stay where we are, holding each other, neither of us wanting to move.
