Review: Always You by Missy Johnson

Synopsis
I was thrilled when I was offered a graduate teaching position at the prestigious Tennerson Girls Academy. At twenty-three, this would be my first ‘real’ teaching assignment. Working at the elite boarding school, home to the daughters of some of the wealthiest people in the world, was a great opportunity that I would've been stupid to pass up.

One week into my new job, and I suddenly had no idea why I chose high school…I was a seventeen year old boy once, I knew how teenage girls behaved.

You can’t even imagine the hell of trying to teach thirty, hormonal driven seventeen year olds who have been cooped up, away from any male contact.

I could handle the whispers every time I entered the room. I could even handle the obvious attempts at gaining my attention. What I couldn't handle was her…

Rich bitches and way too many rules. Was it any wonder that I hated school?

Add to that the lack of male contact, and I was going insane. Like literally. I wasn't used to this. A year ago I was normal. I had a boyfriend, friends and a loving family. There is nothing normal about me anymore, and nobody here lets me forget that.

My name is Wrenn, and I’m only here because my aunt took me in after what happened, but my aunt also happens to be the headmistress of this academy…Can you see my problem?

I’m hated for my lack of money, and I’m hated for who my Aunt is.

Then he arrived. Dalton Reed. My new history teacher.

Slowly, he helped me see that even in the worst situations, there is always hope.

                                                           My Review

I love teacher student books because they are about forbidden love or a love that should not be, that is why I couldn't wait to read this and I must say that it did not disappoint. Missy had me from beginning to end with the relationship between Dalton and Wrenn. I loved the fact that they meet each other before but neither could remember it happening and that the one thing that Wrenn said to Dalton when they were young was the thing that kept him going.

Wrenn was a girl that had her whole life taken from her in the blink of eye and than she had to uproot her life to go stay with her aunt. Dalton was living his life in denial not wanting to know the outcome of his fate or what a simple test could mean for him. He meets Wrenn and all of that changes, now he is looking at things differently and wanting a life that he never thought could be possible. Wrenn was the type of girl that gave up on life and than she finally saw something that she wanted and decided to go for it. I loved the fact that Wrenn was the one that was pushing for the whole relationship issue and that Dalton was fighting her tooth and nail.

This was not all about love at first sight there was also a story line behind it and with every great read there is always a crisis or an issue that makes you love the characters even more and this story had that also. I love to see how characters overcome obstacles that are in there way to get to the endgame.

Review: Infinity Unleashed by Sedona Venez

A new adult story of Betrayal. Sex. Addiction. Love. And Power...
Mason's diabolical plan had actually worked.
In a matter of minutes he had kidnapped me, stripping me of everything...money, family, and freedom. It was humbling, depressing, and damn infuriating but I refuse to go down without a fight. I refuse to be defeated.
Boulder will find me. I didn't know how, but I felt it deep in my soul.
Boulder...the one man that made my body quake with just one look. It was madness. There was so much I didn't know about him. For that matter, there was so much that he didn't know about me…like the evil darkness lurking inside me, waiting to be unleashed.
Could he accept me without judging?
That's where most men failed. Accepting the real me. But after years of hardening my heart, and sealing it behind a steel cage, I was ready to give myself to him freely. Knowing, that he planned to take everything I offered with both hands, until all I thought of...and wanted...was him…
My Review:
This book starts off right where the first book left off at. Infinity was kidnapped by Mason and Infinity being who she is she puts up a fight with him demanding to be let go. I love every character in this book because they all offer something to the story. Infinity is the girl that can determine what will happen but she also has a evil side to her that is itching to get out. boulder is the wolf that is Infinity's true mate and the one person that can tame her. Mason is the tiger shifter that want to take over the kingdom and run things with the help of Infinity and what would a good story be without a vampire, Alik is the one person that can bring out Infinity's evil side and she is drawn to him in a way that she can't explain.
In this book we find out more about Infinity and Boulder and their purpose in the whole scheme of things. We also find out more about Kara and who she really is and the control that Cortez has over her. This book had me at times going WTF and OMG I can't believe that happened. I must warn you that this book has a CLIFF HANGER and you will be saying NOOOOOOOOOO it can't end like this and why do I have to wait to read the rest of the story. This is definitely a must read and if you haven't read the first book in the ser than that is a must.  Sedona is making her way to the top of my list of best authors that everyone must read.
